The Exo Terra® Monsoon SOLO II is a programmable misting system suitable for all types of terrariums and greenhouses. It helps maintain optimal humidity by generating a fine mist at programmed intervals, the duration and frequency of which can be easily adjusted depending on the type of animal or plant housed. Frequent misting helps stimulate breeding behaviour, and is a necessity when housing live tropical plants such as Bromeliads, orchids, mosses, etc.
The system can be programmed to mist multiple times per 24-hour cycle, with spray durations ranging from 2 seconds up to 2 minutes. The 1,5 liter (0.40 gallon) reservoir ensures continuous operation for several days without the need for refilling (ideal for vacations!), and the reservoir can be easily replenished without needing to uninstall the entire system.
The Exo Terra Monsoon SOLO II comes with 1 easy-to-install nozzle, but the system can be extended to accommodate up to 2 nozzles, making it ideal for up to 2 terrariums. (Please note that every additional nozzle will result in less performance from each nozzle installed.) The mist produced by these specially designed nozzles is extremely fine, creating a fog-like effect in the terrarium or greenhouse, and the extra long tubing makes it possible to conceal the unit in a storage area or under the terrarium in a cabinet.

The Replacement USB humidifier is a replacement part for the Exo Terra Precision Incubator Pro with humidity control. Connect the USB plug of the Replacement USB humidifier to the USB port located at the back of the LED display next to the power cable of the Exo Terra Precision Incubator Pro. Place the Replacement USB humidifier in the opening in the middle of the foam insert. To prime the Replacement USB humidifier, pour a bit of water in the middle of the device, then turn it upside-down and lightly shake to remove excess water. Then place the humidifier flat on the water so it will float and starts humidifying.

The bulb simulates natural moonlight to allow nocturnal viewing without disturbing the animal’s day and night cycle. The light emitted is bluish due to the use of blue glass. The heat generated by the bulb is minimal but enough to provide tropical night time temperatures. The lower wattage of these bulbs does not interfere with natural night drops in temperature.
