Zoo Med’s Grassland Tortoise Food now has more fibre! The new, improved formula contains more essential long-stem fibre grass and hays. This pellet size is excellent for large tortoises like sulcatas, leopard tortoises, desert tortoises, and giant tortoise species (e.g., Galapagos and Aldabra). 

Carefully formulated for all life stages to replicate grassland tortoises’ natural high-fibre and low-protein diet. Contains coarsely ground timothy, Miscanthus, and alfalfa grasses to provide important long-stem fibre. Cold-pressed milled production maintains the integrity of all the long-stem fiber. Made with enticing fresh endive, escarole, and dandelion greens. Contains probiotics to help maintain digestive health, which is crucial for hind-gut fermenters like tortoises.

Instructions for Use:
Moisten pellets with water before feeding. Feed tortoises 6+ months old three times a week. For hatchlings, use Grassland Tortoise Food Crumbles. Adjust the amount offered as needed. For variety, mix with fresh greens and vegetables. Always provide clean drinking water. Store in a cool, dry area.
